🏗️ Structures & containment division

Welcome, Civil Engineer.

We need people who understand what structures can and cannot do. GEI proposes comparisons involving containment, boundaries, reservoirs, channels, and dam-like functions. Your job is to stress-test the physical assumptions—not to accept the metaphor.

THE STRUCTURAL CASE FILE

Your investigation assignment

Assess whether proposed structural analogies are coherent in terms of containment, foundations, materials, loads, outlets, channels, and physical constraints. Identify missing parameters and impossible assumptions.

Your first challenge

If a proposed Genesis feature is compared with a dam or containment structure, what physical conditions would have to be specified for that comparison to mean anything?

What you can bring to the crew

  • Civil, structural, geotechnical, or water-resources engineering knowledge
  • Practical understanding of loads, materials, foundations, and failure modes
  • Calculations, diagrams, constraints, or reasons the model does not work
Your role matters

You're not here to defend a conclusion.

GEI is a proposed interpretive framework under investigation. Your contribution may support a comparison, narrow its limits, identify a better explanation, or show that an idea does not hold up. All of those outcomes are useful.
