About the project
An engineer doesn’t just admire a machine — she opens it, pulls out each part, and asks: what does this drive? We do that with the words of Genesis 1. Every word and every punctuation mark is a clickable part: Hebrew roots, figurative language, homophones, synonyms, antonyms, origins and cross-links — built for curious 5th graders and the grown-ups who love them.
43 clickable words & punctuation marks, each with a full dossier: meaning, Hebrew + Strong’s #, roots, and English origin.
Merism, simile, idiom, anthropomorphism, contrast pairs — toggle a device and watch every word using it glow.
Blue chips hop you across the verse: beginning ↔ first (same Hebrew root!), light ↔ darkness, evening ↔ morning.
📖 Read the text, 🗺 fly the Word Map, 🧱 rebuild verse 3 in Build-a-Verse, 🕹 beat the 8-question Quiz — with confetti, sound FX and a best-score record.
A cosmic night lab or a parchment day mode — because Day 1 invented both.
One tap speaks the transliteration aloud (reshith! bara! ruach!) so the words land in the ear, not just the eye.
